Development with infrastructure roots
Applications, and what they run on.
I build websites and full-stack applications, and I understand the infrastructure they run on, because that is where my career started.
My background began in technical support and systems administration, then grew through web development, hosting and founding the agency Obsite. After my Cloud Service Engineer role at DataBalk, I now work freelance, including ongoing DevOps work for Visnovo.
That mix connects the experience in the browser with the application and its operating environment, while keeping the customer in view.
Outside work, I experiment with home servers and smart solutions. I also founded and managed The Cantina Network, an online community of more than 400 members.
